ZZICEC appoints New Deputy General Manager

(Zhengzhou, 4 May 2009) The Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre (ZZICEC) has announced the appointment of Mr Damion Wan as the Deputy General Manager of the Centre as of May 2009.

Mr Wan will oversee the planning and implementation of business strategies, international marketing activities, operation efficiency and provides direction to enhance the service quality and customer satisfaction at ZZICEC.

“Damion has an extensive experience in exhibition and conference industry. He will be a great assistance to the General Manager and a valuable asset to ZZICEC in further enhancing the service quality and overall revenue of the Centre,” said Mr Cliff Wallace, Chairman of the Hong Kong-Shanghai Venue Management (Zhengzhou) Limited, a management company for the ZZICEC.

Mr Wan has over 15 years of experience in exhibition and conference industry in Hong Kong, mainland China and Asia Pacific region. He possesses professional knowledge in organising exhibitions & conferences, venue management, marketing & sales, and stands contracting. He has held various senior marketing & sales positions at E.J. Krause and Associates Ltd. in Hong Kong and mainland China. Prior to joining ZZICEC, Mr Wan was the General Manager of the Swiftland Limited located in Beijing which provides management consultancy to exhibition/conference companies.
